We learn to love to learn~Ron Clark

It is my second time to watch this movie of THE RON CLARK STORY. When the first time is when I’m not the educator profession, but the feeling of watching the movie are same, the first time I watched it, I was deeply touched. I have watched it for the second in the class, and each time I watched I have more of an appreciation for what Ron Clark has done for these children. In which I am feel excited and inspiring me and that person was a real not only for the drama.

The RON CLARK story follows the inspiring tale of an energetic, creative and idealistic young teacher who leaves his small North Carolina hometown to teach in a New York City public school. Through his passionate use of special rules for his classroom, highly innovative teaching techniques and an undying devotion to his students and helping them cope with their problems; Clark is able to make a remarkable difference in the lives of his students. For one young girl trying to attend school while helping to raise her brothers and sisters, he offers a chance for her to overcome her situation and become one of the class' top students. For a young man with a penchant for graffiti, he offers an ideal outlet for artistic expression. Even when he is almost overcome by pneumonia, Clark continues to work with his students, hoping that he can raise their test scores to an acceptable level, or possibly even higher.












The drama comes from these kids who have all but given up on themselves. Watching the kids triumph is moving. I was amazed that one person had so much faith and truly believed in these children when no one else did. I wish that every teacher out there had the passion and love for their students that Ron Clark has for his. Every child needs to feel important and loved. I am grateful for the example and for all that you have done for your children that Clark have taught. What Clark do is remarkable and Clark have inspired me to teach children with passion and love. And some of people out there who watch this movie were become inspire and set him to be a role model! I thought, and I still think that I will aim for that. I'm even inspired just by reading about Clark inspiration... teachers are in such a powerful position for change. As the quote stated

I love this movie so much because it made me strive even more to achieve my dream of teaching. Watching these movies makes me so proud that there are teachers like Clark that don't give up on their students, like some teachers i have known, Clark believe and know they can achieve greatness. It is teachers like Clark that give students a chance to live to their full potential. Clark are truly a educator , and his determination and achievements well always be kept close to my heart. As the inspire word I get from this movie..





‘We learn to love to learn’ ~Ron Clark and I would look as a part of an education is the lifelong learning and nothing will last forever.

Reflection on Sang PEMIMPI......

Sang Pemimpi is the continue journey of Ikal’s life, but in more mature life. The story is teratology of Laskar Pelangi, which a lot of moral values of the younger generation, adapt the learning environment in the insufficient condition of the school facilities, teacher and also number of student. But with the high level of motivation from his friend, his continue succeed in their life.

This is a story about three children Malay Belitung, Ikal, Arai, Jimbron who has a dream to set foot into the Sorbonne, Paris, France, and then explore Europe come to Africa. But not all of them can be gained with a simple dream that all they have gained with the spirit of sacrifice and struggle there is no delete. As poor Malay children they must work day school morning and evening study. Not only is it on the road, they are also faced with the vagaries of the world's youth, which made them difficult to focus on their initial goals, friendships, trust, love, the decision , delinquency, poverty has always been a major barrier that has prevented them to get what they like. They are hard it is to help themselves and help elderly people close to pension; they are willing to go home once a fortnight to get an education. As a poor child living in the village, their dream are very large and is considered unlikely, but as a poor man just dreams that give them courage to continue living, and the purpose to get up at three in the morning and working as a coolie Master.

Still in my mind the statement of

“Mari memimpikan masa depan yang lebih baik. Bermimpilah tentang masa depan, bekerjalah untuk saat ini, dan belajarlah dari masa lalu. Dunia ini ada untuk ditaklukkan, keinginanku adalah keabadian. Seperti yang di impikan Achiles, seperti para tokoh bersejarah dunia, mereka abadi, walau raga mereka telah tiada, tapi karyanya akan selalu diingat sepanjang masa.”

” Tanpa mimpi orang-orang seperti kita akan mati…” That was one of the original story inspired by words from the story Sang Pemimpi.

 They have no fixed plan or fee to extend their school to Jakarta, with the sacrifice Jimbron, Ikal and Arai.  Seeing the money is, daring and high morale went to Jakarta. Wandered until they settled there Bogor worked hard and finally selects the job even Curls should be separated from Arai. Lord of life was already arranged someone even indispensable path between islands Curls and Arai was finally able to meet again when they apply for a scholarship to Paris. Son of the poor out of the bias eventually become masters of hard struggle, determination and tenacious, and given the opportunity to study in Université de Paris, Sorbonne, France

But in my point of view, the teacher play an important role to the student, whereby the teacher give the higher motivation as they are the individual that student respect and obey anything what that their  teacher said during class. In this story, there have two type of teacher, the old,traditional,strict and firm and another one that look their student as their friend, who are energentic,young and pleasurable in class environment. Both personality is the good but most student when we ask, sure that they more preferred the aggressive one that started the class with the good induction; start with motivation quote as the good practical in class. The student more likely get inspire by those words and keep in their minds. When I become a teacher, which one I going to be? But what is more important, as the teacher, they not only responsible delivery the knowledge to the students, but also responsible to develop the student’s interest, shape the student’s characteristic and also create the student to become better person in future.

My teaching philosophy

 

My classroom will be interesting and enjoyable environment where the classroom itself is different with other classroom. I will let the student to show they are potential in develop some ideas on the learning activity in class. Then I will have the T & L in interesting way: for example on the reading subject, where some student gets boring and not interested in that subject. So as the interesting ways of learning, not only refer the text book but also include material based learning.

The material based learning is the concept of learning through the material that can best use for learning process. It is include through paper cutting about an issue regarding to the subject, field trip to the expose student about the real situation of environment, interesting games as the revision at the end of session and also class activity in group discussion.

My classroom wills the interesting environment where I will develop the student deeper understanding in the subject my review some tips from the experience. I believe my student have the potential to success in learning, but the main element on learning are the interest and attention in class. As the solution I will shared my experience of learning through BUFSU learning style and mnemonic technique. My classroom is more enjoyable when we are together creating the words as the clue for the subsection in reading subject. I believe my classroom will become the place where they are have the at least get 90% from the lesson out of my class.

Apakah, Siapakah musuh Anda....

Pada dsrnye..perkataan MUSUH blh dtg dr pelbagai mksud...hehe..kdg2 diri kite sendiri pun boleh di anggap sbgai musuh..apatah lagi faktor2 luaran yg boleh mmpengaruhi diri dan pemikiran kita ni...pada diri saya..terlalu byk perkara yg sy aggp musuh ...and ape yg rozi blh senaraikan antaranye ialah:

1. Makanan

 Huhu...ni xpyh ckp le....bab mkn ni ssh skit nak kwl perasaan...hehe..lg2 msakan my lovely mother....xyh ckp le...peh sdp shgga menjilat jari..yelah sape dlm dunia yg ckp mskan mak die xsedp..DERHAKA tu...heheh..ape2 pun. xboleh nak tolak pun...hehehe...So makann mmg menjadi top list...klu x xdele rozi asik pikir nak diet je..hehehe...
2.Tidur

Tido ohhh tido.....sape dlm dunia ni yg xtido...cube ckp...hehehe..itu adalah alasan semata2 xde kene mengena dgn yg len...tido mmg le satu rutin yg di lalukan semua  org...tp musuh sye ialah tido di tghari...hehehe..OH NO....xleh thn beb..lg2 time study ni...ade je wktu yg sempit2...sempat lg tido tu...berpandukan pda satu kajian mengatakan...nap is important to gain back the energy...hehehe...SAYA SETUJU....nap is important...eventhough it only for 5minit...not 5hours....keep reminds me my brain...pleaaseee....
3. Tugasan

Mcm2 jenis tugasanyg diberikan...pejam celik pejam celik,siap satu ade lg kene siapkan...huhu..itu lah org kata...klu kite keje...keje abis kat ofis je...tp bile time bljr...keje xpernah abis...siap bwk blik lg keje tu...adoi....inilah CABARAN dan DUGAAN yg rozi harus hadapi...ini lah lumrah hidup ye...apatah lg bile da posting nnti...lg byk keje mennti...lglah  xpernah abis n xpernah surut....SABAR YE rozi
4. Sikap

Ini ade lah satu factor yg xdptdi elakkan ....kadang2 kite sndiri pun xperasan mcmne kite punye perangaikan...ikut mood jugak kot...ALASAN lg...insyalllh doa2 kn semoga hati ini lebih berfikir positif dr negatif...THINK POSITIF ...insyallh keje akn diberkati dan kite sendiri boleh mengawal sesuatu tindakan itu..

5. Faktor2 luaran yg bolh mggu emosi...kdg2 dtg dr kwan, xkire lah baik @ x, mmg pernah mmberi satu impak yg besar dlm hidup ini...tp jgan risau..semakin hari semakin rozi gembira sbb semakin memahami kehidupan ini...bahkan lebih meghargai ape rozi ade,its ok...bile kite terlampau amik tau sgt pun xguna coz wat penink kepala je..kan..lbh baik lupuskan saja dlm ingatan dan dlm hati...doakn ape yg terbaik tok diri dier....jgn nak sibuk sgt jaga tepi kain orggggg...(bukan di tuju kpd sesiape ye) just for my reminder...

Sentiasa bersungguh melakukan sesuatu untuk kamu.. .Jangan kamu anggap teman lelakimu seorang yang kuat membebel Sekiranya setiap masa dia cuba memberi kamu nasihat.

Ingat, nasihat bermaksud mengingati. Jika sudah sayang, macam-macam akan kamu fikirkan termasuklah bimbang akan kehilanganya. Begitu juga jika teman lelakimu menyatakan dia selalu memikir dan risaukan kesudahan hubungan kamu.

Ada juga lelaki yang cepat berasa sensitif dan mudah marah sekiranya apa yang diperkatakannya tidak diambil perhatian, lebihlebih lagi dari orang yang dia sayangi. Baginya kamu bersikap acuh tidak acuh.

Hal ini boleh menimbulkan perasaan cemburu meluap-luap, tambahan pula sekiranya kamu boleh menjadi pendengar setia apabila berdampingan dengan orang lain.

Pasti dia merasakan dirinya tidak berguna pada kamu.. Lucu tapi hakikatnya begitulah apabila teman lelakimu berperangai tidak ubah seperti anak-anak kecil semata-mata untuk mendapat perhatian daripadamu.

Si dia mahu bermanja dan inginkan kekasih hatinya melayannya lebih daripada orang lain yang pernah kamu sayang. Kalau dia merajuk hati, sesekali cubalah untuk memujuknya.

Kamu hadapi masalah dan orang pertama yang datang membantumu adalah teman lelakimu. Tandanya dia tidak mahu melihat kamu susah dan rasa bertanggungjawab untuk membantu.

Dia mudah merasa cemburu dan sensitif apabila kekasihnya tidak menumpukan sepenuh perhatian kepadanya. Dia tidak akan melayan perempuan lain yang tidak ada urusan penting dengannya.

Kalau ditinggalkan oleh kekasihnya, ia akan berasa serik dan tidak percaya dengan cinta perempuan lain namun dia sentiasa mengharap kekasihnya kembali kepadanya.

Dia tidak suka kamu keluar malam…tanda ingin menjaga pandangan org terhadap kamu... Dia tidak akan berlaku curang kepada kekasihnya namun jikalau dia dia berbuat demikian itu bererti hatinya belum 100 peratus mencintai kekasihnya.

Wlupun cuti raya da start tp kpala still lg pikir ttg test n presentation after raya ni...adoi penink...yg plg dkat skali 2week after raya presentation small company....tp bile belek2 balik gmbar kat fb...cikgu2 tag gmbr g mkn kt D'One Steak Restaurant....teringat blik time tu xtau pun nak berbuka kat mana...xd plan la dikatakan.hehe...sume berbuka kat bilik dulu.lps solat bru grk g makan....

lepas solat kumpul dpn kolej mawar...rupe2nya...dr nak g berlima ramai plak yg join...yg da beli mknn pun xjd nak mkn coz nak join...hehe..tu le akibat kene hasutan cikgu2 yg len.hahaha...nak dipendekkan cite....berangkat la.3 kereta putih( 1 exora+ 2myvi).xjauh pun dekat je..kluar ikut padang jawa ni..ikut laluan nak g Pak Li Kopitiam...tepi jalan je..nampak le restorantnye

Dan inilah wajah2 cikgu2 yg join berbuka mlm tu....havoc btul hehe...klu nak tau antara cikgu2 ni ade yg da kawin,da ade anak pun,ade yg nak kawin pun ade...apatah lgi yg bujang2 nye..hehehe..apa2 pun mlm tu la sesi ber'taharuf''....hehe

Da lps sesi ber'taharuf' tu....hehe..for next session...Eating time...~~sedapnye...Antara menu2nya yg di suggesr utk di cube ialah:

Chicken Chop......murah je..ni cikgu isma yg mkn...hehe..

ni plak cikgu zahid n cikgu haida yg mkn..xtau ape namenye...tp entrance dier vogue le..kaw2 sume lari coz byk asap..hehehe..

and this kepada sesiapa yg nak jgk mkn nasi kat western food ni...D' One steak House ade gak menu nasi...contohnye..yg cikgu umey amik ni...Chicken Morocco...blh tahan le..tp ni agak lmbt dpt sbb2nye mybe nak kene di terbangkan dr Morocco kan..kuang2

Ni ade lah menu yg simple yg menjadi ......pilihan hati saya n cikgu syamami..(kak im)...Mixed steak=chicken+ beef...yg pling suke ialah coslow nye...sedap...menjilat garfu..huhu=pilihan yg tepat ...sgt byk

And ini adelah Combo chicken = 1chicken+1lamb+3prawn.....same je mcm mixed chicken xde beza..tp mmg xabis mknnye...

Selepas mencubenye..terasa sgt puas hati...coz puas makan,kenyang n harga nye berpatutan....mcm chicken chop is below rm10...

After tlh mencubenye...next week nak blik cuti raya...g kuar mkn lg kat situ..tp kali ni lain skit coz kuar ng yg tersayang...dlm2 berjanji mkn ber2...tup2 aman. idir n zety pun nak join..meriah le mlm tu.ng sesi bahan membahan...time tu adelah kali ke2 mencubenye.n arini nak kuar g jln2 cri mkn lagi.....nak g bazar pkns last sblum berhari raya.nak cri samosa klang...sedap kaw2 punye wok.....rm1 /satu...mahal tp berbaloi...wan pulak nak makan ayam percik bak kata die zaidy ckp sedap...t kite try ye syg......dlm diam my syg msj..nak buka ktne?ayam penyet xnak,piza xleh book...hummmm...makan steak kat tmpt aritu nak x?hehehe...nmpk x disitu...D'oNE Steak Restaurant da ade peminat baru...n xperlu le lg kite mkn steak kt strawbery lg ye...hehehe...

Raya dtg lg....

Pejama celik pejam celik, arini dah 20 Ramadhan...next week da start cuti raya dah...nsb baik kelas DR Aziah n Mdm Adzura xde...so ari rabu da boleh cabut da.

Last friday punye meeting, time madam kay bace timetable yg baru, mak ai praktikal start bln 5...8hb Mei plak tu.nsib baik sempat celebrate besday lg.hehe..akan rozi wat preparation tuk menuju sem 3 nnti. hehe..

Berbalik kepada cite nak dekat raya ni, mmg len dari len le raya ni kali ni, xprnah mcm ni.xpikir sgt nak shopping raya,wlupun mulut ni byk kali ckp nak g shopg, Apa nak wat ongkos nye ngak ade, da nak dkt sebulan lebih da rozi smbg DP ni...byk yg rozi bljr, from zero to...at the moment not as a hero le.just about 25% kot to be teacher..INSYALLH..semangat2. jgn biarkan org len memperlekehkan keputusan kamu itu huhu....

Countdown 5hari lg nak blik,mcm2 nk wat...nak wat kuih raya,nak beli tudung raya,jeans raya...nak msuk duit dlm smpul raya.dan mcm2 lgi.hehehe

p/s: nak bg duit raya konon...mane 3bln elaun tu.xde pun lg...
klu btul 3bln ( 3xrm 1336.71) nak ke 4k gak ni...msyuk2...huhu...no no simpan2..jgn boros2
adam, sara...thn ni mak lang bgi duit raya rm 5 sorg je ye..faktor2 ekonomi semasa.hahah
